Webinar from NAHQ Focuses on Quality & Safety Content for Use in Graduate Healthcare Education Curriculum (6/24/2020)

The National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) has contributed their expertise and resources to help develop CAHME’s  Accreditation for Healthcare Quality and Safety initiative.  NAHQ believes a coordinated, quality-competent healthcare workforce begins in the classroom!  The CAHME Board is very appreciative of NAHQ’s support as a CAHME Corporate Member.

On June 24, 2020, NAHQ is offering a webinar that will review how NAHQ’s twice-validated Healthcare Quality Competency Framework can be leveraged in graduate healthcare management education curriculum around quality and safety.

After more than 40 years of leading the conversation around healthcare quality with organizations across the continuum of care, NAHQ now offers academic institutions the opportunity to hardwire various elements of NAHQ content for use in graduate healthcare management education curriculum.

Several universities have already begun to implement this within their nursing, health administration, quality/safety and related program areas. This content can serve to differentiate institutions amid a crowded, competitive university landscape, and it can also show strong alignment to emerging industry standards. Over 12,000 healthcare quality professionals have earned their CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality®) through NAHQ, and NAHQ serves around 8,000 healthcare quality professional members today.

The webinar will be held June 24 at 2 pm CT and you can register here. You may forward this invitation to other colleagues within your institution or across your professional network.
