Site Visitor Training

Site visitor training is provided through the use of our CAHME Learning Management System. It provides an overview of the expectations CAHME has related to professionalism of its site visitors. Below is a list of current professionalism sessions related to CAHME site visitor training.

Professionalism
Access now >Dr. Laurie Shanderson, Dean of Northcentral University’s School of Health Sciences, reviews professional standards and actions as they relate to CAHME.

  • Part 1- Lesson: describes the purpose of accreditation and the need for site visitors to demonstrate a clear understanding of CAHME’s values
  • Part 2- Scenarios: situations are reviewed about skills and actions that facilitate strong team cohesion and performance during the site visit process

 

Fiduciary Duties of Site Visitors
Access now >Elise Scanlon, J.D., Elise Scanlon Law Group, reviews the dual mission of accreditation and the importance of carrying out site visitor responsibilities in alignment with CAHME’s mission and values.

  • Part 1- Lesson: reviews the Doctrine of Apparent Authority and the importance of observing boundaries around the site visitor role, responsibilities and authority.
  • Part 2- Scenarios: reviews the skills and actions that facilitate strong team cohesion and performance during the site visit process.
