Substantive Change Forms

Addition of New Track or Degree

The addition of a modality to a currently accredited program:

  • The addition of a different instructional delivery method (i.e. online, in-person, residential, hybrid)
  • The addition of a track targeting a different student population (i.e. early careerists, mid-careerists, highly experienced students)
  • The addition of a different conferred degree
  • The addition of a satellite or secondary campus or other location used for instruction
  • The incorporation of a duel or multi-degree option if creditws from the non-accredited degree are counted towards the completion of the acccredited degree program

Complete the New Track Substantive Change Form.

Change to Existing Track or Degree

For major changes to current track or degree, including but not limited to:

  • curriculum
  • degree
  • competency model
  • primary method of delivery (in-person, online, etc)
  • decrease in required number of credits

Complete the Existing Track Substantive Change Form

Consult the CAHME Fee Schedule for Substantive Change fees.
