For more than 50 years, CAHME (The Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education) has been dedicated to advancing the quality of healthcare management education. Through the accreditation process, CAHME ensures that graduate healthcare administration programs prepare students with the knowledge, competencies, and leadership skills needed to transform health systems and improve community well-being.

CAHME accredits over 160 academic programs in healthcare management, spanning focus areas such as healthcare leadership, quality and safety, and population health. Across these programs, more than 13,000 students and 2,500 faculty members are part of a global community committed to continuous improvement and excellence in healthcare management education.

CAHME is the only organization recognized by the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) to grant accreditation to professional master’s programs in healthcare management.
