The CAHME/Olin Oedekoven Most Improved Student Scholarship

The CAHME/Olin Oedekoven Most Improved Student Scholarship is named for Olin Oedekoven, who founded Peregrine Global Services. Peregrine emerged as a global leader and thought-partner in higher education services, providing online assessment and instructional solutions to more than 500 higher education institutions worldwide. Olin had strong leadership, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a deep-seated commitment to making a meaningful difference.

Eligibility

  • Student in CAHME Accredited or Certified Program
  • Nominations must be made by the students Program Director, or a faculty member on behalf of the University Program Director

Nomination Essay

The nomination consists of two essays of no more than 250 words (limit to 1,250 characters) each. Essays should be completed by the Program Director, and we recommend typing your essay responses in a saved document outside of the online application in case of technical difficulties. You may copy and paste from your personal document to the online application when you are ready.

  2. In approximately 250 words (limit to 1,250 characters) or less, describe a significant change the student experienced in the past year in terms of personal growth or academic achievement. How did this transformation impact their peers, or the greater community on becoming a healthcare leader?
