The CAHME Mentorship Circle (CMC) is an opportunity for model programs to mentor other programs who are seeking continuous quality improvement or accreditation.

University of Phoenix

CMC Project
The University of Phoenix will share its practices to bolster strength in building compassion and empathy for the diverse healthcare management field. These include an annual Inclusive Leadership Summit and an ‘Inclusive Cafe’ as well as a program specific three course unit that focuses on building empathy.

Competency Models

Dalhousie University

CMC Project
As one of the first programs to adapt LEADS as a competency model for CAHME Accreditation, Dalhousie University plans to share the lessons they have learned and continue to learn in the process. LEADS is a global framework that should enable Dalhousie University to mentor programs around the world as they adopt the model and approach CAHME Accreditation.

This would be an opportunity to learn together ways to improve and would provide direction and discussion to other programs with interest in expanding their competency measurement capabilities.

The University of Miami is working with CAHME to help create better ties to the MBA programs in healthcare management by continuing to lend their help and support in creating joint site visits with AACSB to accredit MBA programs easier. The 2021 conference was the 10th annual conference, which focused on global approaches to healthcare problems.
