Robert “Bob” Bonney has been involved in health care management for over 45 years and is currently Vice Chair of the Board of Presbyterian Manors of MidAmerica, a holding company of 18 life care centers. He has held C-suite roles in large health systems and is a Life Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has been an active participant on, and contributor to, numerous boards and committees, currently including the Board of Rockhurst University. He has been active with the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME), where he served on the Standards Council, Accreditation Council, Governance Committee, Substantive Change Committee and is a Master Fellow. Mr. Bonney has served as adjunct faculty health at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Texas Tech and the University of Missouri – Columbia. In addition, he has taught continuing education courses for ACHE, MGMA and HFMA.  Courses taught include The Art of Negotiation, Product Line Management, Managed Care, Health Law and the Capstone. He was named Professor of the Year five times at the University of Kansas Medical Center Health Administration Program. Mr. Bonney has numerous publications. He holds a Juris Doctorate (Summa Cum Laude) from the Detroit College of Law, a Master of Science in Public Health and Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri – Columbia, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from College of the Holy Cross. He served in the United States Air Force as a Minuteman Missile Launch Control Officer. Mr. Bonney and his wife reside in Overland Park, Kansas, have three adult children, seven grandchildren and have been foster parents to 23 children.
