Dr. Jillian Harrington, Ed.D
Chief Accreditation Officer
Dr. Jillian Harrington, Ed.D, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-I, CEMC, MHP joins CAHME as Chief Accreditation Officer, bringing nearly three decades of experience at the intersection of healthcare compliance, academic leadership, and accreditation. Most recently, she served as Program Director for the BS Health Informatics program at the University of Central Florida’s School of Global Health Management and Informatics, where she also taught across the health services administration and health information management programs and led the program’s CAHIIM accreditation self-study. Prior to UCF, she served as faculty at Robert Morris University health administration programs, where she also contributed extensively to program accreditation and certification activities. Earlier in her career, she served as chief compliance officer and chief privacy official at a major academic medical center and later founded ComplyCode, a consulting firm specializing in healthcare compliance program development and gap analysis. Dr. Harrington is an active leader in AUPHA, serving as Faculty Forum Chair for Distance Learning, and is an active member of ACHE, AHIMA, and AAPC. She holds an EdD in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton University, an MS in Health Systems Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology, an MS in Sports Leadership from Northeastern University, and a BS in Healthcare Administration from SUNY Empire State College.
