The Dr. Dolores Clement Fellow of the Year Award
The Dr. Dolores Clement Fellow of the Year Award recognizes a fellow that is nominated by other site visitors and programs visited, has a history of service as a fellow, for helping programs to succeed, and demonstrates a commitment to advance the quality of healthcare management education.
Dr. Dolores Clement, a former CAHME Board member, was deeply passionate about her role as a site visitor and was named a Master Fellow Emeritus in recognition of her lasting contributions. This award, which she created and personally funded, will continue in her honor even after her passing, ensuring her legacy of service and dedication to healthcare management education lives on.

Receiving the CAHME/Dr. Dolores Clement Fellow of the Year Award is a tremendous honor and a meaningful reminder of the importance of giving back to a profession that has given me so much. While volunteerism and professional service are rewarding in their own right, what I value most are the friendships I’ve made along the way with colleagues who also want to advance health administration education.
Eligibility
- An active Fellow or Certified Fellow
- Nominated by either:
1. Site Visitors who attended a site visit within the past fiscal year
2. Program Directors who had a site visit within the past fiscal year
Award Includes
- One-time financial award
- One additional site visit credit toward their lifetime total
- Physical award to commemorate their achievement
- Recognition on CAHME’s website and social media
