The CAHME/George and Regi Herzlinger Innovation Education Platinum Award

“Innovation is not only about innovation; it’s about how to make invention happen.” Prof. Regi Herzlinger

About the Platinum Award

The award is funded by Dr. George and Professor Regi Herzlinger, whose innovative medical devices have saved hundreds of thousands of lives. Their work has also educated generations of healthcare leaders on how to evaluate and adopt innovation. This award continues that tradition by encouraging academia to ensure that future healthcare leaders develop the skills necessary to create, assess, and implement innovative solutions.

Now in its fifth year, the 2026 Platinum Award will be granted to one of the CAHME/George and Regi Herzlinger Innovation Education Award recipients from the past four years (2022–2025).
