2026 CAHME Standards
2026 Accreditation Standards
At the May 2025 Board Meeting, the CAHME Board of Directors approved the final draft of the 2026 Accreditation Standards to be brought to the field for public comment. We invited all interested parties to review and provide feedback on the draft standards during our 60 day public comment period, which closed on August 1, 2025. All submitted comments were reviewed by CAHME management and the Standards Council which resulted in this revised version of the 2026 Accreditation Standards.
On September 10, 2025 the 2026 CAHME Draft Accreditation Standards were approved by the Standards Council. The 2026 CAHME Accreditation Standards and Criteria received CAHME Board of Directors approval on October 20, 2025. No changes were made to the 2026 CAHME Draft Accreditation Standards, criteria, or exhibits that were approved on September 10, 2025 by the Standards Council.
